What is Teddington Square?

Teddington Square will be the newest attraction to New Concord, Ohio. Home of the Muskingum University that's been serving the area since 1837. Along with being the hometown of the astronaut and senator John Glenn. Teddington Square with its modern style is a vibrant and upbeat outdoor food court. With live entertainment and multiple food vendors of different cultures. It's a place to bring the community together and for everyone to feel welcomed.

There will be a total of 7 vendors in Teddington Square. Each one being a different food type. 3 of these vendors will have covered rooftop seating to enjoy your meal or beverage. There will be 6 twenty foot vendor containers and 1 forty foot vendor container. To inquire about becoming a vendor follow the link below.

Pavilion

The center of Teddington Square will have a high roof modern style pavilion. With plenty of seating area for up to 50 people. A great place to relax and socialize with friends and family while enjoying your favorite vendor.

Stage

What's a great place to hang out and enjoy some good food without live music. Teddington Square will have live music on special occasions to enhance your night out experience.

With music and a welcoming feeling when entering you are sure to have a great experience. The new modern style with the walnut wood accents, beautiful landscaping and warm white string lights will have you planning your next outing before you even leave.

Project Overview

  • Step 1

    Presenting the idea and project plans to the city officials. Get feedback and make changes accordingly as to adhere to zoning requirements. Along with overall esthetics of the project to meet Design and Review board criteria.

    DIVERTED TO PLANNING COMMISSION 

  • Step 2

    Seek approval from planning commission. Ask for variance on parking. As there is not adequate space available on lot for parking. Make any changes needed for planning commission approval. We encourage all to attend meeting to show support.

  • Step 3

    Seek capital for the project. Estimated cost is 675K. We are currently working with Community Bank and private lenders. If you would like to be apart of this project you can donate here on the website. All donors will be recognized on a plaque that will be displayed at the entryway of Teddington Square

    Once we have funding and all permits we will plan a ground breaking ceremony. This is scheduled for spring of 2025.

    Fall 2025 Teddington Square OPENS!!

    If all goes to plan we are planning a grand opening in the fall of 2025. A specific date will be announced around mid to late summer
